The winning bidder received the NFT and the 2.5D special printing artwork that was crafted by GASHO2.0.
NFT Auction @ IVS NAHA
GASHO2.0 held an auction of NFT at IVS Crypto* from July 6 to 8, 2022, and gave winning bidders the NFT and 2.5D realistic artworks from GASHO2.0.
10 pieces were auctioned at the NFT auction, some of which were priced at 15ETH. The auction ended with great success. The auction transaction value was over 43ETH.
This auction was held in collaboration with 10 famous NFT creators/artists in Japan who painted their works for this auction. The real arts made by GASHO2.0’s special printing were also displayed at the venue, and many people were able to see the special technology and high quality of the art.
*IVSCrypto:IVS is entering its 14th year. Last year, we experienced the event’s largest ever turnout. For IVS Naha 2022, we expect more of the same as founders and CEOs are excited to meet and do business at IVS. Why do we do this business?
Due to the nature of NFT art, transactions are done digitally, and the actual art itself does not remain in your possession. However, there is a need for people who want to display their own artwork at home or at events. We focused on this need and started this business. Many people appreciated that they can actually display their own NFT art at home and touch it. In addition, customers loved the high quality of the actual artwork. We are happy to see more people enjoying NFT art in this way, and we hope that more people will become interested in NFT.
About the technology
The strength of GASHO2.0’s artwork is its quality. This is supported by the unique Japanese technology. First, a craftsman grasps the concept of the work, checks the angle from which the work is viewed and the areas that are emphasized by the unevenness, and creates the data. Then, based on the data, hairline processing, clear coating, and polishing are repeated many times to create 2.5D art with a three-dimensional effect by applying 16 thick layers of ink on an aluminum plate. This technology was researched and developed together with our technical partners. It is characterized by an overwhelming sense of luxury and an impactful shape of unevenness.
Achievements
GASHO2.0 has been exhibited at many events and galleries in Japan. In particular, NFT ART TOKYO in June, which was attended by Takashi Murakami, was so successful that the venue could not hold all the people. We have also had permanent exhibitions so that our art can be seen in various places.
What we want to do in the future
We would like to expand our business to the world by combining the high quality Japanese special techniques with NFT art. We would like to hold exhibitions and events outside of Japan, and we are also looking for creators who would like to have their NFTs made into actual 2.5 artwork.
